President Serzh Sargsyan received Vice-President of the World Bank
Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation of the World Bank headed by Vice-President Shigeo Katsu.
The President of Armenia hailed our country’s cooperation with the World Bank. The two sides discussed issues related to the implementation in the coming four years of the programs developed in the framework of partnership between Armenia and the World Bank.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the Regional Vice President for efficient cooperation and wished success to the newly appointed Regional Vice President Asad Alan.
At the meeting discussed were also issues related to the global financial and economic crises, their impact on our country, and tactics aimed at overcoming the consequences. The Vice President of the World Bank praised the measured undertaken by the Armenian authorities to mitigate the impact of the global financial and economic crises.
